DWD Longhorns is a Certified Audubon Conservation Ranch.  Our range and livestock management practices benefit wildlife habitat.  View our 2023 on-site 56-species breeding bird count.  The beef we raise is 100% Grassfed, born, raised, and processed in the USA, and the animals are raised with good animal husbandry, using practices that give back to the planet, rather than extract from it.  Our ranch is monitored for soil regeneration by Savory Ecological Outcome Verification.  Beef marketed under the Bandera Grassland™ label is produced on our ranch with Cattlemen's Texas Longhorn Registry Certified Texas Longhorns.  We support the conservation efforts of The Livestock Conservancy and participate in polinator-friendly ranch management.
